U <br /><11 <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />~r' OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, AMENDING SECTION 29-123 <br />OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF SAID CITY TO ADD <br />F? W THREE LOCATIONS WITHIN SAID CITY AT WHICH PARK- <br />ING SHALL BE PROHIBITED AND DECLARING AN EMER- <br />GENCY. <br />J <br />U VJEREAS, after study of current parking problems within <br />the corporate limits of the City of San Marcos, Texas, Robert <br />E. Minnie, Director of Public Safety for said City, has <br />recommended certain areas at which parking should be prohibited <br />and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of said City, having examined <br />said recommendations, hereby finds and determine-, that said. <br />locations should be added as no parking areas <br />now, therefore, <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS : <br />SECTION 1. That section 29-123 of the Code of Ordinances, <br />City of San Marcos, Texas, is hereby amended to read as follows: <br />Sec. 29-123. No parking. <br />In accordance with the terms of this chapter, and <br />when signs are erected giving notice thereof, no person <br />shall park a vehicle upon any of the following described <br />streets or parts of streets: <br />Alley, South of Jackson Lane, both sides. <br />Armstrong Street, South side, Guadalupe Street to <br />MacArthur Street. <br />Blanco Street, West side, Hopkins Street to San <br />Antonio Street. <br />Blanco Street, West side, Hutchison Street to <br />Burleson Street, between the hours of 8:00 a.m. <br />and 5:00 p.m. <br />Blanco Street, East and West sides, Hutchison <br />Street to Hopkins Street. <br />Bugg Lane, both sides Missouri-Pacific railroad <br />tracks to Hopkins Street. <br />Burleson Street, both sides, Kasch Street to <br />Gillette Street. <br />Burleson Street, South side from R.R. 12 (Moore <br />Street) to Blanco Street between the hours of <br />8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. with a loading zone starting <br />at a point 150 feet west of R.R. 12 (Moore Street) <br />to a point 200 feet west of R.R. 12 (Moore Street). <br />Cheatham Street, both sides, from Guadalupe Street <br />to L.B.J. Drive. <br />Chestnut Street, North side, L.B.J. Drive to Lamar <br />Street. <br />C.M. Allen Parkway, East side, Cheatham Street to <br />University Drive. <br />Comanche Street, East side from Hopkins Street to <br />Comal Street.
