} <br />THE STATE OF TEXAS <br />WARRANTY DEED <br />THE COUNTY OF HAYS <br />KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS: <br />That the City of San Marcos, Texas,a municipal corporation <br />of Hays County, existing by and under authority of the State <br />of Texas, acting through its Mayor, Emmie Craddock, duly auth- <br />orized by ordinance enacted on December 14, 1981, hereinafter <br />called "Grantor", for and in consideration of the sum of Nine <br />Thousand Dollars ($9,000.00), in hand paid by Carlos Tijerina, <br />1501 Furman Street, San Marcos, Texas 78666, Hays County, Texas, <br />hereinafter called "Grantee", the receipt of which is hereby <br />acknowledged, has GRANTED, SOLD AND CONVEYED, and by these pre- <br />Bents does GRANT, SELL AND CONVEY, to Grantee all the following <br />described property, to-wit: <br />All of Lots No. Thirteen (13) and Fourteen (14) <br />of Guerrero's Re-Subdivision of the Southwestern <br />one-half of Lot or Tract No. Three (3) of A.F. <br />Weatherford's Subdivision of a tract of 162.3 <br />acres out of the J.M. Veramendi League No. One <br />(1), in Hays County, Texas, according to the map <br />or plat of said Guerrero's Re-Subdivision of rec- <br />ord in Volume 146, Page 639, Hays County Deed <br />Records. <br />TO HAVE AND HOLD the above-described premises, together <br />with all and singular, the rights and appurtenances thereto in <br />anywise belonging, unto the said Grantee, his heirs and assigns <br />forever. <br />And, Grantor does hereby bind itself, its legal represenatives <br />and assigns, to WARRANT AND FOREVER DEFEND all and singular the <br />said premises unto the said Grantee, his heirs and assigns against <br />every person whosoever lawfully claiming or to claim the same, or <br />any part thereof, subject to any and all valid and subsisting
