If any information is marked as <br />confidential in the proposal, DSHS will determine whether the requested <br />information may be excepted from disclosure under the Public Information <br />Act, Texas Government Code, Chapter 552. If it constitutes an exception, <br />and if a request is made by any other entity or individual for the information <br />marked as confidential, the information will be forwarded to the Texas <br />Attorney General along with a request for a ruling on its confidentiality. <br />Respondents are advised to consult with their legal counsel regarding <br />disclosure issues and to take the appropriate precautions to safeguard trade <br />secrets or any other confidential information.
