direction to staff regarding researching limiting the number of Conditional Use Permits <br />issued in areas other than downtown as well as research on zoning limits on adult <br />entertainment establishments. <br />As recommended by the Task Force, a link was created on the City's website where <br />citizens can submit comments. Staff also posted the list of Task Force recommendations <br />for implementation on the website so the public can view. <br />The Task Force would like to remain in effect for a minimum of 12 months and will <br />continue to conduct more research regarding alternative transportation options other <br />Universities use and work with CARTs on creating a special route for heavy student- <br />populated areas. <br />Conclusion <br />This concludes the Extended Bar Hours Task Force's recommendations respectfully <br />submitted for your consideration. We appreciate your time and thank you for the <br />opportunity to serve in this capacity on behalf of the San Marcos community. <br />9
