RESOLUTION NO. 2009- 69 R <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, APPROVING THE PURCHASE <br />FROM RANDALL MORRIS & COMPANY, LTD. OF <br />THREE TRACTS OF REAL PROPERTY CONSISTING OF <br />SIX ACRES OUT OF THE T.J. OR THOMAS J. <br />CHAMBERS SURVEY AS MORE PARTICULARLY <br />DESCRIBED BY METES AND BOUNDS IN THE <br />ATTACHED SPECIAL WARRANTY DEED FOR A PRICE <br />OF $61,200.00; AUTHORIZING THE TRANSFER OF <br />TITLE TO SUCH TRACTS OF LAND BY SPECIAL <br />WARRANTY DEED; AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE <br />DATE. <br />RECITALS: <br />1. A public necessity exists for the acquisition of three tracts of real property <br />consisting of six acres out of the T.J. or Thomas J. Chambers Survey for public purposes. <br />2. The City of San Marcos has negotiated a purchase of said tracts of real property <br />from the owner, Randall Morris & Company, Ltd. for a price of $61,200.00. <br />. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS: <br />PART 1. The purchase of three tracts of real property consisting of six acres out of <br />the T.J. or Thomas J. Chambers Survey as more particularly described in the Special Warranty <br />Deed attached hereto as Exhibit "A" for a price of $61,200.00 is hereby authorized. <br />PART 2. The transfer of title to said tracts of real property by the Special Warranty <br />Deed attached hereto as exhibit "A" is hereby authorized. <br />PART 3.
