Call To Order <br /> With a quorum present,the joint workshop meeting of the San Marcos City <br /> Council and the Planning and Zoning Commission was called to order by <br /> Mayor Guerrero at 5:34 p.m. Wednesday, September 30, 2015 in the Activity <br /> Center Room #1, 501 E. Hopkins, San Marcos, Texas 78666. <br /> II. Roll Call <br /> Present: 11 - Mayor Daniel Guerrero, Council Member John Thomaides, Council Member Ryan <br /> Thomason, Deputy Mayor Pro Tern Shane Scott, Mayor Pro-Tern Jude Prather, <br /> Council Member Jane Hughson,Shawn Dupont, Kenneth Ehlers,Jim Garber, <br /> Travis Kelsey and Chris Wood <br /> Absent: 5- Council Member Lisa Prewitt, Brian Olson,Angie Ramirez,Amy Stanfield and Saul <br /> Gonzales <br /> 1. Receive Staff presentations and hold discussion regarding updates to the Vision San <br /> Marcos Comprehensive Plan, CodeSMTX, and the Transportation Master Plan and <br /> provide direction to staff. <br /> Jared Miller,City Manger, provided an introduction for the workshop and the <br /> topics of Vision San Marcos Comprehensive Plan, CodeSMTX, and <br /> Transportation Master Plan that would be presenting. <br /> Jason King,Dover, Khol& Partners, provided an overview of the CodeSMTX <br /> goals and what had been accomplished up to this point with the Think Tank. <br /> He also provided an overview of intensity zones, stability areas and <br /> neighborhood areas. Council requested a listing of specific points of interest <br /> from residents in the neighborhoods from Staff. <br /> Abigail Gillfillan, provided an overview and update on the Comprehensive <br /> Plan -Vision San Marcos. <br /> Laurie Moyer,Director of Engineering,introduced Rashed Islam with HDR <br /> Engineering who provided the assembly with an update regarding the <br /> Transportation Master Plan. <br /> City of San Marcos Page 1 <br />
