(3) Possible new programs and services to enable senior citizens to reach their <br />full potential in housing, jobs, and community life and activities; and <br />(4) Methods by which senior citizens can take responsibility for strengthening <br />existing programs and services, and for providing new programs and services, to aid senior <br />citizens. <br />(c) The board will also: <br />(1) Coordinate with other governmental entities, and with private citizens, <br />institutions, community senior centers and agencies regarding programs and services to aid <br />senior citizens in the city; and <br />(2) Develop programs to recognize achievement and contribution to the San <br />Marcos community by senior citizens. <br />(3) Gelleet infef:Fnatien on instanees of diser-ifnifiatio et' <br />t-he C.,« 114.,. -.. and ref r the inf .m.,tien to ...� ., <br />SECTION 2. In codifying the changes authorized by this ordinance, paragraphs, <br />sections and subsections may be renumbered and reformatted as appropriate consistent with the <br />numbering and formatting of the San Marcos City Code. <br />SECTION 3. If any word, phrase, clause, sentence, or paragraph of this ordinance is <br />held to be unconstitutional or invalid by a court of competent jurisdiction, the other provisions of <br />this ordinance will continue in force if they can be given effect without the invalid portion. <br />SECTION 4. All ordinances and resolutions or parts of ordinances or resolutions in <br />conflict with this ordinance are repealed. <br />SECTION 5. This Ordinance will take effect after its adoption on second reading.
