EXHIBIT D —CITY PROJECTS <br /> City of San Marcos <br /> City Projects Purpose: <br /> The local projects to be provided by the City of San Marcos will serve to provide the Lone Star <br /> Rail District (LSRD) passenger rail station permanent pedestrian access and amenities, paved <br /> roadway access, parking, station project site drainage, and City utilities, including water and <br /> wastewater utilities, to the station project site. Eligible projects include those that provide and <br /> enhance access, use and experience for citizens when accessing and using the rail locations. <br /> These can include: <br /> • Sidewalk access to and around the LSRD passenger rail station locations <br /> • Roadway improvements in and around the LSRD passenger rail station locations <br /> • Lighting, benches, bicycle racks, and other items that enhance access and promote multi- <br /> modal use of the LSRD passenger rail station locations <br /> • Public parking metering, facilities and management in and around the LSRD passenger <br /> rail station locations <br /> • Signage related to the LSRD passenger rail station locations <br /> These improvements will be provided in a timely fashion so as to coincide with the <br /> implementation of passenger rail service by the LSRD. <br /> -4- <br />
