<br /> 88 <br />Regular Meeting January 13, 1992 Page 5 <br />Nash Phillips of C-Tech also serves on the Board. <br />Mayor Morris introduced the City Attorney's Report. Mr. Taylor had <br />no report at this meeting. <br />Mayor Morris introduced the City Council's Report. (1) Mr. Guerra <br />advised he went to Washington with the Drug-Free San Marcos program <br />and while there, the President spoke to them after his trip to <br />Japan. Mr. Guerra stated they brought back helpful information that <br />can be utilized on the Mayor's Commission on Youth. (2) Mr. Hart <br />stated Drug and Gun Free Campus will be placing signs on campuses, <br />and each sign costs approximately $25-30. He stated the logo will <br />serve as a visual reminder, and Mr. Hart wants us to look into also <br />funding signs on the SWT campus. <br />Mayor Morris introduced an Executive Session pursuant to Article <br />6252-17, sections 2(e} and (g), V.A.C.S., to discuss pending <br />litigation (Sierra Club vs. Manuel Lujan, Et Al; city vs. LCRA); <br />contemplated litigation, and matters where the duty of the <br />City Attorney to the city pursuant to the Code of Professional <br />Responsibility of the State Bar of Texas clearly conflicts with <br />Article 6252-17; and duties of a public employee (City Manager), <br />respectively.
