3 Regular Meeting February 10, 1992 Page 3 Mayor Morris introduced for consideration adoption of an Ordinance on emergency, the caption which was read as follows: AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, AMENDING THE CITY BUDGET ORDINANCE FOR THE 1991-1992 FISCAL YEAR TO PROVIDE FUNDING FOR A FIXED ASSETS INVENTORY; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. Mr. Moore moved for adoption of the Ordinance on emegency and Mr. Plummer seconded the motion. Mr. White advised the Council the City will be able to maintain the inventory on software with periodic updates adding new equipment and will have depreciation schedules. The preliminary report will be provided in 80 days. The Council voted unanimously for adoption of the Ordinance on emergency. Ms. Kissler moved for adoption of the Ordinance on emergency and Mr. Moore seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. Mayor Morris introduced for consideration adoption of an Ordinance on emergency, the caption which was read as follows: AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, AMENDING THE CITY BUDGET ORDINANCE FOR THE 1991-1992 FISCAL YEAR TO PROVIDE FUNDING FOR LOOP 82 UTILITY RELOCATION; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. Mr. Guerra moved for adoption of the Ordinance on emergency and Ms. Kissler seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. Mayor Morris introduced for consideration approval of minutes of the Regular Meeting held January 27, 1992, adoption of two Ordinances on third and final reading, approval for use of Water/Wastewater Contingency Funds in the amount of $6,780.00 for the City's 10% cost participation for relocation of utilities and existing improvements for street improvements by the State on SH123, for adoption of seven Resolutions and for approval to change the Regular Meeting date of Monday, March 9, 1992 to Monday, March 2, 1992 at 7:30 p.m. on consensus. Mr. Guerra moved to approve the minutes of the Regular Meeting held January 27, 1992, to adopt the two Ordinances on third and final reading, to approve the use of contingency funds for improvements on SH123, for adoption of the seven Resolutions and for approval to hold a Regular Meeting on Monday March 2, 1992 by consensus and Mr. Hart seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. The captions of the Ordinances and Resolutions read as follows: Adoption of Ordinances on third and final reading: AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, AMENDING SECTION 3-2 OF THE CITY CODE TO CHANGE THE SUPERVISION OF ANIMAL CONTROL SERVICES FROM THE POLICE CHIEF TO THE DIRECTOR OF ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; REPEALING ALL CONFLICTING ORDINANCES; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
