EXHIBIT C <br />PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS <br />AND FREESE AND NICHOLS, INC. <br />PROJECT SCHEDULE <br />TIME OF COMPLETION: FNI is authorized to commence work on the Project upon execution of this AGREEMENT <br />and agrees to complete the services in accordance with the following schedules. It is assumed that the majority <br />of the project, design and construction, will occur in 2016/2017. <br />Main Lift Station Expansion Evaluation <br />Milestone /Deliverable <br />Calendar Days <br />Draft Technical Memorandum <br />75 days from Notice to Proceed <br />City Review and Approval <br />14 days from Submittal (approximate) <br />Final Technical Memorandum <br />21 days from Memo Workshop <br />Force Main, Reclaimed Water Line and Bulk Refilling Station <br />30% Schematic Design <br />90 days following Notice to Proceed* <br />City Review and Approval <br />14 days from Submittal (approximate) <br />75% Design Phase Submittal <br />90 days following receipt of comments from City <br />City Review and Approval <br />14 days from Submittal (approximate) <br />99% Design Phase Submittal <br />90 days following receipt of comments from City <br />City Review and Approval <br />14 days from Submittal (approximate) <br />100% Design Phase Submittal <br />45 days following receipt of comments from City <br />Bid Phase <br />±60 days for advertisement & contract execution <br />Construction Phase <br />240 days (210 days for Construction + 30 days for <br />Preparation of Record Drawings) <br />*Schematic design for the force mains may change depending on the outcome and decisions made as a result of <br />the Main Lift Station Evaluation Task. The schedule of this task may have to be revised, as negotiated with the <br />City. <br />If FNI's services are delayed through no fault of FNI, FNI shall be entitled to adjust contract schedule consistent with <br />the number of days of delay. These delays may include but are not limited to delays in City or regulatory reviews, <br />delays on the flow of information to be provided to FNI, governmental approvals, easement acquisition necessary <br />for construction, etc. <br />Page 13 of 13 <br />
