IOO Regular Meeting July 13, 1992 Page 6 Mayor Morris introduced the city Council's Report. Mayor Morris stated the city needs to enforce the Ordinance prohibiting people on the railroad trestles, and especially the people jumping off the trestles onto the tubers floating down the River. Mayor Morris introduced an Executive Session pursuant to Article 6252-17, Sections 2(e), (f) and (g), V.A.C.S., to discuss pending litigation (Sierra Club vs. Lujan), and matters where the duty of the city Attorney to the city pursuant to the Code of Professional Responsibility of the State Bar of Texas clearly conflicts with Article 6252-17; value of real property; and duties of public officers (Mayor; city Secretary), respectively. Mr. Moore moved the Council adjourn into Executive Session at 9:18 p.m. and Mr. Plummer seconded the motion, which passed unanimously (Mr. Guerra present at 10:15 p.m.). Mr. Guerra moved the Council reconvene at 11:40 p.m. and Mr. Moore seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. Mayor Morris introduced for consideration acceptance or rejection of offer by Hays County Appraisal District to purchase office space on the first floor of the Municipal Building for $326,000.00 and direction to Staff. Ms. Kissler moved to reject the offer of Hays County Appraisal District and Mr. Plummer seconded the motion. On roll call the following vote was recorded: AYE: Hernandez, Hart, Morris, Guerra, Kissler, Plummer. NAY: None. ABSTAIN: Moore (conflict of interest - City's representative to CAD).
