NOTICE OF CONFIDENTIALITY RIGHTS: IF YOU ARE A NATURAL PERSON, YOU <br /> MAY REMOVE OR STRIKE ANY OF THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION FROM THIS <br /> INSTRUMENT BEFORE IT IS FILED FOR RECORD IN THE PUBLIC RECORDS: YOUR <br /> SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER OR YOUR DRIVER'S LICENSE NUMBER. <br /> LEASE AMENDMENT <br /> Date: February 16, 2016 <br /> Lessor: City of San Marcos, Texas, a municipal corporation, 630 East Hopkins, San <br /> Marcos, Hays County, Texas 78666 <br /> Lessee: Texas Military Department (formerly, Texas National Guard Armory Board), <br /> 2200 West 35`" Street, Bldg. 37, Austin, Travis County, Texas 78703 <br /> Lease: Lease for a term of 99 years between the City of San Marcos, Texas and the <br /> Texas National Guard Armory Board dated October 7, 1953 and recorded in <br /> Volume 157, Page 599, Real Property Records of Hays County, Texas. <br /> Demised Premises: 3.5 acres, of land out of the J.M. Veramendi Survey No. 2, Hays County, <br /> Texas, as further described in the Lease. <br /> Consideration: $10.00 and other good and valuable consideration, the receipt of which is <br /> hereby acknowledged. <br /> Amendments to Lease: For the Consideration, the Lease is hereby amended as follows: <br /> 1. The area of the Demised Premises is hereby amended and <br /> reduced from 3.5 acres to 1.33 acres, more or less, of land area, as <br /> further described by metes and bounds in Exhibit "A," attached <br /> hereto and made a part hereof for all purposes. <br /> 2. No man-made structure, other than limestone barricades <br /> (commonly referred to as "butter sticks") or other substitute <br /> barricades approved by Lessee, shall be erected by Lessor within <br /> 10 meters of the exterior perimeter of Lessee's existing buildings <br /> (IAW UFC 4-010-01). <br /> 3.
