City Council Meeting Minutes February 16,2016 <br /> Following a roll call vote Angie Ramirez, Betsey Gail Rand, and Lee <br /> Porterfield received the majority of Council votes and were appointed to the <br /> Planning and Zoning Commission. <br /> The following applicants were nominated by Council Member Hughson for <br /> consideration to the Senior Citizen Advisory Board: <br /> W.C. "Bill" Olson, Caitlin McGinty, Nancy Lee Seifert, Peggy Meiners, <br /> Marianne Reese, Marie Goble, Sandra Martinez <br /> Following a roll call vote all seven members were unanimously approved for <br /> appointment to the Senior Citizen Advisory Board. <br /> Jayme Sutton was nominated by Council Member Hughson for consideration <br /> to the Veteran Affairs Advisory Board. <br /> Following a roll call vote Mr. Sutton was unanimously approved for <br /> appointment to the Veteran Affairs Advisory Board. <br /> The following applicants were nominated by Council Member Hughson for <br /> consideration to the Zoning Board of Adjustment and Appeals: <br /> Mason Murphy and Ivan Friedman. <br /> Following a roll call vote both members were unanimously approved for <br /> appointment to the Zoning Board of Adjustment and Appeals. <br /> A motion was made by Council Member Hughson, seconded by Council <br /> Member Gregson, to postpone the appointments to the San Marcos <br /> Commission on Children and Youth until after the Board has presented their <br /> annual report. The motion carried by the following vote: <br /> For: 7- Mayor Guerrero, Mayor Pro-Tern Thomaides, Council Member Prather, Deputy <br /> Mayor Pro Tern Prewitt, Council Member Hughson, Council Member Derrick and <br /> Council Member Gregson <br /> Against: 0 <br /> VI. Question and Answer Session with Press and Public. <br /> None. <br /> VII.
