City Council Meeting Minutes February 12,2016 <br /> connectivity; authorizing the City Manager or his designee to execute the agreement; <br /> and declaring effective date. <br /> 7. Resolution 2016-18R, approving the purchase of closed circuit television equipment <br /> for the Public Services Department-Water/Wastewater Division from Green <br /> Equipment Company through the Houston-Galveston Area Council of Governments <br /> Cooperative Purchasing Program Contract #SC01-15 for sewer cleaning, hydro <br /> excavating, inspection equipment and miscellaneous services in the total amount of <br /> $74,850.00; authorizing the City Manager or his designee to execute the appropriate <br /> purchasing documents on behalf of the City and declaring an effective date. <br /> 8. Resolution 2016-19R, approving an amendment to the lease with the Texas <br /> National Guard Armory Board, now known as the Texas Military Department, for <br /> purposes of reducing the area of the premises leased from the City due to the <br /> reconfiguration of the parking lot for City Park, establishing restrictions on structures to <br /> be erected in the vicinity of the armory building, and providing a right of access to the <br /> leased premises through said parking lot; authorizing the City Manager to execute <br /> said amendment on behalf of the City; and providing an effective date. <br /> 9. Resolution 2016-20R, approving the purchase of mobile radios for the Fire <br /> Department under the City's existing additional Interlocal Participant Agreement with <br /> the Lower Colorado River Authority in the total amount of $113,659.54; authorizing the <br /> City Manager or his designee to execute the appropriate purchasing documents on <br /> behalf of the City; and declaring an effective date. <br /> 10. Resolution 2016-21R, authorizing the submission of an application to the United <br /> States Department of Homeland Security, Federal Emergency Management Agency <br /> ("FEMA") for an Assistance to Firefighters Grant in the amount $744,049.00 for the <br /> purchase of two-way vehicle mounted mobile and portable radio equipment for the <br /> City's Fire Department and five other participating fire departments in Hays County; <br /> approving the City's proportionate contribution toward the required 10 percent of <br /> matching funds; authorizing the City Manager or his designee to act on the City's <br /> behalf with regard to the submission of this application; authorizing the City <br /> Manager or his designee to accept the grant, if awarded, and to execute all contracts <br /> and documents with FEMA and other participating entities as necessary to implement <br /> the grant; and declaring an effective date. <br /> NON CONSENT AGENDA <br /> 11. Ordinance 2016-03, on the first of two readings, creating a designated permit area <br /> under Section 82.189 of the San Marcos City Code that allows parking by permit only <br /> on both sides of the 600 Conway Drive; amending the traffic register to reflect such <br /> designated permit area; and providing for an effective date. <br /> 12. Resolution 2016-22R, approving a License Agreement with Austin Street Tavern <br /> LLC, doing business as AquaBrew Brewery & Beer Garden, for purposes of allowing a <br /> City of San Marcos Page 2 <br />
