ORDINANCE NO. 2009-35 <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, <br />AUTHORIZING THE ISSUANCE AND SALE OF CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, <br />GENERAL OBLIGATION BONDS, SERIES 2009; PROVIDING FOR THE SECURITY <br />FOR AND PAYMENT OF SAID BONDS; PRESCRIBING THE FORM OF SAID BONDS; <br />AWARDING THE SALE THEREOF; APPROVING THE OFFICIAL STATEMENT AND <br />A BOND PURCHASE AGREEMENT; AND ENACTING OTHER PROVISIONS <br />RELATING TO THE SUBJECT <br />WHEREAS, general obligation bonds ofthe City of San Marcos, Texas (the "City") were duly <br />and favorably voted, pursuant to the laws of the State of Texas, at an election held in the City on the <br />date hereinafter set forth; and the following are among the purposes and principal amounts of the <br />bonds which were authorized, together with the total principal amount previously issued pursuant to <br />each voted authorization, the principal amount therefrom being issued pursuant to this Ordinance, <br />and the principal balance to remain unissued after the issuance of the bonds hereinafter authorized, <br />to-wit: <br /> <br /> <br />Election <br />Date <br />Election <br />Proposition <br />Number <br /> <br /> <br />urpose <br />Principal <br />Amount <br />Authorized Principal <br />Amount <br />Previously <br />Issued <br />Principal <br />Amount <br />This Issue Principal <br />Amount <br />Remaining <br />Unissued <br />11/8/05 Prop. Gov't Code Ann. <br />§1331.052; and <br />WHEREAS, it is officially found, determined and declared that the meeting at which this <br />Ordinance has been adopted was open to the public and public notice of the date, hour, place and <br />subject of said meeting, including this Ordinance, was given, all as required by the applicable <br />provisions of Tex.
