(2) Mr. Taylor advised the new Code books should be <br /> received in the next couple of weeks. <br /> Mayor Morris introduced the City Council's Report. (1) 'Mayor <br /> Morris stated the City Council will hold a Special Meeting on <br /> Monday, October 2, 1995 at 6:00 p.m. to do appointee evaluations. <br /> (2) The City Council set the next Quarterly Workshop with the County <br /> and SMCISD to be Thursday, November 9, 1995 at 6:30 p.m. <br /> Mayor Morris introduced an Executive Session pursuant to the <br /> Government Code, Section 551.071, to discuss pending litigation <br /> (Medina County U.W.C.D. vs. Barshop¡ E.U.W.D. vs. Allen, Et AI) and <br /> matters where the City Attorney's ethical duty to the City clearly <br /> conflicts with Government Code Chapter 551¡ Sections 551. 072 and <br /> 551. 073, to discuss purchase of real property and lease of real <br /> property¡ and Section 551.074, to discuss appointment of a public <br /> officer (HCAD Board) and duties of public officers (Mayor and <br /> Council).
