Some of the <br />longer reuse pipelines were subdivided into smaller asset segments to better characterize their <br />likelihood and consequence of failure characteristics. <br />3.1 Asset Inventory <br />The San Marcos asset inventory was organized into an asset hierarchy grouping the various <br />assets into asset classes with common function, performance, and deterioration characteristics. <br />The reuse system inventory is provided in Table 3.1. The Maximo asset ID numbers were used <br />throughout the inventory and supplemented if no Maximo ID was available. The reuse pipelines <br />were divided into pipe segments to differentiate different likelihood and consequence of failure <br />characteristics. A letter was added to the existing ID to identify the new line segment <br />designations. <br />February 2016 Page 11 <br />
