(2) Mr. Taylor <br /> advised the Edwards Aquifer matter is not completed yet, and a <br /> hearing has been set for this coming Friday regarding protection for <br /> our river and springs. <br /> Mayor Morris introduced the City Council's Report. (1) Mr. Cox <br /> - stated he attended the Master Plan Meeting last week and thought <br />I <br /> attendance was good, there was a lot of discussion and was a useful <br /> meeting. (2) Mayor Morris stated the City/County/School Quarterly <br /> Meeting will be held October 11 at 6:00 p.m. at Dunbar with Judge <br /> Etheredge presiding. (3) Mayor Morris stated the City Council <br /> Quarterly Workshop is scheduled November 3. (4) Mayor Morris stated <br /> the Council has received a memorandum regarding flag-shaped lots <br /> which Council asked Planning to devise a formula way to treat them, <br /> and it was cOn~ensus of Council to place this on a future agenda for <br /> discussion. (5) Mayor Morris asked Council if they were interested <br /> in establishing a senior citizens study group as suggested by Bob <br /> Sappington, including representation from all of the City, to try to <br /> get senior citizens together and indicate to the Council what some <br /> of their needs are. Mayor Morris stated she would place this on a <br /> future agenda if the Council wants this, and it was consensus to do <br /> so. ~ <br /> Mayor Morris introduced an Executive Session pursuant to the <br /> Government Code, Section 551.071, to discuss Medina County U.W.C.D. <br /> vs. Barshop, Et AI, and matters where the City Attorney's ethical <br /> duty to the City clearly conflicts with Government Code Chapter 551; <br /> and Section 551.074, to discuss duties of a public officer (Mayor). <br /> Mr. Moore moved to adjourn into Executive Session at 8:05 p.m. and <br /> Mr. Guerra seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. <br /> Mr. Guerra moved the Council reconvene at 9:58 p.m. and Mr. Moore <br /> seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. <br /> - <br /> The meeting adjourned at 9:58 p.m. on motion made by Mr. Guerra and <br /> seconded by Mr. Moore. l {zl7t(~ n t me?1 ~ <br /> &~ ~, ~ Kath M.
