RESOLUTION 2016-39R A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, APPROVING THE LEASE AND MAINTENANCE OF 37 ADDITIONAL LIGHT VEHICLES FOR USE BY THE CITY FROM ENTERPRISE FLEET MANAGEMENT, INC. THROUGH THE TIPS/TAPS INTERLOCAL PURCHASING SYSTEM IN THE NOT-TO- EXCEED ANNUAL AMOUNT OF $260,000.00 FOR FIVE YEARS; AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER OR HIS DESIGNEE TO EXECUTE THE APPROPRIATE LEASE DOCUMENTS ON BEHALF OF THE CITY AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. RECITALS: 1. On February 4, 2014 the City approved a Master Equity Lease Agreement and Maintenance Agreement with Enterprise Fleet Management, Inc. for the lease of vehicles for the City's Police Department (the "Agreements"). 2. The City wishes to lease an additional 37 light vehicles from Enterprise Fleet Management, Inc. in accordance with the existing Agreements in the-not-to exceed annual amount of$260,000.00 for the next five years. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS: PART 1. The lease and maintenance of an additional 37 light vehicles from Enterprise Fleet Management, Inc. through the TIPS/TAPS Interlocal Purchasing System in the not-to- exceed annual amount of$260,000.00 for the next five years is approved. PART 2. The City Manager or his designee is authorized to execute the appropriate purchasing documents on behalf of the City. PART 3.
