RESOLUTION 2016-39R <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br /> MARCOS, TEXAS, APPROVING THE LEASE AND MAINTENANCE OF <br /> 37 ADDITIONAL LIGHT VEHICLES FOR USE BY THE CITY FROM <br /> ENTERPRISE FLEET MANAGEMENT, INC. THROUGH THE <br /> TIPS/TAPS INTERLOCAL PURCHASING SYSTEM IN THE NOT-TO- <br /> EXCEED ANNUAL AMOUNT OF $260,000.00 FOR FIVE YEARS; <br /> AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER OR HIS DESIGNEE TO <br /> EXECUTE THE APPROPRIATE LEASE DOCUMENTS ON BEHALF OF <br /> THE CITY AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> RECITALS: <br /> 1. On February 4, 2014 the City approved a Master Equity Lease Agreement and <br /> Maintenance Agreement with Enterprise Fleet Management, Inc. for the lease of vehicles for the <br /> City's Police Department (the "Agreements"). <br /> 2. The City wishes to lease an additional 37 light vehicles from Enterprise Fleet <br /> Management, Inc. in accordance with the existing Agreements in the-not-to exceed annual <br /> amount of$260,000.00 for the next five years. <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br /> TEXAS: <br /> PART 1. The lease and maintenance of an additional 37 light vehicles from Enterprise <br /> Fleet Management, Inc. through the TIPS/TAPS Interlocal Purchasing System in the not-to- <br /> exceed annual amount of$260,000.00 for the next five years is approved. <br /> PART 2. The City Manager or his designee is authorized to execute the appropriate <br /> purchasing documents on behalf of the City. <br /> PART 3.
