Box 2062 <br /> Georgetown, Texas 78627 <br /> Attention: Mr. David Singleton <br /> LETTER AGREEMENT <br /> Dear Mr. Singleton: <br /> This letter will serve as an agreement (the "Agreement") between Southwest Land Services, Inc. <br /> (the "Consultant") and the City of San Marcos, Texas ("City") for the Consultant's provision of <br /> professional support, advice, and assistance to City staff in the Planning and Development <br /> Services Department, Engineering and Capital Improvements Department and the City <br /> Manager's Office more particularly described in the Scope of Work below. The Consultant <br /> agrees to perform all services in accordance with the City of San Marcos' standard Terms and <br /> Conditions for Professional Services Agreements attached as Attachment A. <br /> Scope of Work: <br /> • Assist City Manager and staff with flood relief related projects (including the San Marcos <br /> River bypass project) <br /> • Assist City Manager and staff with Facilities Master Planning efforts <br /> • Assist City Manager and staff with Cape's Camp Dam Removal Project (including <br /> related bank stabilization projects) <br /> • Continue participation in the CodeSMTX process <br /> • Assist Planning and Engineering staff with development and C.I.P. related projects <br /> • Additional projects as requested by the City Manager and City Council <br /> Term of Agreement: <br /> The term of this Agreement will begin on March 1, 2016 and end on February 28, 2017. <br /> Compensation: <br /> City agrees to pay Consultant a fee of$5,000 per month (not to exceed $60,000.00 over the term <br /> of the Agreement) for performing the services described in this Agreement. <br /> In addition to the fees specified above, City agrees to reimburse Consultant in a total amount not <br /> CITY HALL•630 EAST HOPKINS•SAN MARCOS,TEXAS 78666 • 512.393.8150 • FACSIMILE 855.759.2846 <br /> SANMARCOSTX.GOV <br /> 1 <br />
