Box 2062 Georgetown, Texas 78627 Attention: Mr. David Singleton LETTER AGREEMENT Dear Mr. Singleton: This letter will serve as an agreement (the "Agreement") between Southwest Land Services, Inc. (the "Consultant") and the City of San Marcos, Texas ("City") for the Consultant's provision of professional support, advice, and assistance to City staff in the Planning and Development Services Department, Engineering and Capital Improvements Department and the City Manager's Office more particularly described in the Scope of Work below. The Consultant agrees to perform all services in accordance with the City of San Marcos' standard Terms and Conditions for Professional Services Agreements attached as Attachment A. Scope of Work: • Assist City Manager and staff with flood relief related projects (including the San Marcos River bypass project) • Assist City Manager and staff with Facilities Master Planning efforts • Assist City Manager and staff with Cape's Camp Dam Removal Project (including related bank stabilization projects) • Continue participation in the CodeSMTX process • Assist Planning and Engineering staff with development and C.I.P. related projects • Additional projects as requested by the City Manager and City Council Term of Agreement: The term of this Agreement will begin on March 1, 2016 and end on February 28, 2017. Compensation: City agrees to pay Consultant a fee of$5,000 per month (not to exceed $60,000.00 over the term of the Agreement) for performing the services described in this Agreement.
