Call To Order With a quorum present, the workshop meeting of the San Marcos City Council was called to order by Mayor Guerrero at 12:04p.m. Friday, March 11, 2016 in the City Council Chambers, 630 E. Hopkins, San Marcos, Texas 78666. Present: 6- Mayor Daniel Guerrero, Council Member Jude Prather, Deputy Mayor Pro Tern Lisa Prewitt, Council Member Jane Hughson, Council Member Melissa Derrick and Council Member Scott Gregson Absent: 1 - Mayor Pro-Tern John Thomaides II. Roll Call Mayor Pro Tem Thomaides was absent due to a work emergency. Consider Staff briefing and Council Member discussion and questions regarding items on the agenda for March 15, 2016 Regular City Council Meeting, to wit Items (3-26). 3. The City of San Marcos' Comprehensive Annual Financial Report (CAFR) for the Fiscal Year ended September 30, 2015 from the City's audit firm ABIP, P.C. 4. Presentation from the San Marcos Commission on Children and Youth. CONSENT AGENDA 5. February 22, 2016 - Cape's Dam Workshop February 26, 2016 - Packet Meeting Minutes March 1, 2016 - Regular Meeting Minutes March 2, 2016 - Budget Policy Meeting 6. Ordinance 2016-04, on the second of two readings, amending Section 2.332 of the San Marcos City Code to provide that nonresident members of the Airport Advisory Board must own an aircraft based on the airport or represent a company that owns an aircraft based at the airport; providing for the repeal of any conflicting provisions; and providing an effective date.
