<br />74 <br />Regular Meeting December 6, 1994 Page 4 <br />the Council before the first meeting in January of the grant status. <br />Mr. Gilley advised the City does not have a person available for the <br />purpose of writing grants, and the Jagers were asked to pursue <br />assistance through the County. Mrs. Jager stated it is her opinion <br />a kitchen is necessary for the facility to be used as a senior day <br />care center. Mayor Morris stated it is the goal of the Council the <br />center be used for youth and seniors to come together and do what <br />they want to do, but it is not the intention to make this facility a <br />senior day care center. <br />Mayor Morris introduced an Executive Session pursuant to Chapter 551 <br />of the Government Code, section 551. 071, to discuss pending <br />litigation (Sierra Club vs. Babbitt) and matters where the City <br />Attorney's ethical duty to the City clearly conflicts with <br />Government Code Chapter 551; and sections 551.072 and 551.073, to <br />discuss purchase of real property. Mr. Moore moved to adjourn into <br />Executive Session at 9:46 p.m. and Mr. Hernandez seconded the <br />motion, which passed unanimously. <br />Mr. Moore moved the Council reconvene at 11:13 p.m. and Mr. Cox <br />seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. <br />The meeting adjourned at 11:14 p.m. on motion made ~y Mr. Hernandez <br />and seconded by Mr. Mooney. <br /> M.
