Call To Order With a quorum present, the workshop meeting of the San Marcos City Council was called to order by Mayor Pro Tem Thomaides at 12:02 p.m. Friday, June 3, 2016 in the City Council Chambers, 630 E. Hopkins, San Marcos, Texas 75666. II. Roll Call Council Member Derrick arrived after roll call at 12:06 p.m. Mayor Guerrero arrived after roll call at 12:24 p.m. Present: 7 - Mayor Daniel Guerrero, Mayor Pro -Tem John Thomaides, Council Member Jude Prather, Deputy Mayor Pro Tern Lisa Prewitt, Council Member Jane Hughson, Council Member Melissa Derrick and Council Member Scott Gregson 1. Consider Staff briefing and Council Member discussion and questions regarding items on the agenda for June 7, 2016 Regular City Council Meeting, to wit Items (3 -15). Consent Agenda 3. Presentation and discussion regarding permanent downtown lighting and temporary holiday lighting. 4. May 13, 2016 - Visioning and Non Residential Masonry Standards Workshop Minutes May 17, 2016 - Regular Meeting Minutes May 23, 2016 - Facilities Workshop 5. Resolution 2016 -70R approving an amended and restated Economic Development Incentive Agreement with Chuck Nash Auto Group providing for the waiver of certain sign standards under the Land Development Code; authorizing the City Manager to execute this agreement on behalf of the City and declaring an effective date. 6. Resolution 2016 -71 R, approving a commercial lease with Seguin Court Plaza, L.P. for the lease of space at 550 North Highway 123 Bypass, Seguin, Texas, for the operation of a WIC Program Satellite Office; authorizing the City Manager to execute said lease; and declaring an effective date. 7.
