City Council Meeting Minutes June 3, 2016 effective date. Non Consent Agenda 13. Appointments to the Cemetery Commission and to fill a vacancy on the Citizen Utility Advisory Board. 14. Staff presentation and discussion on the Hopkins Street Improvements: Bishop to Moore, and provide direction to Staff. 15. Receive a Staff presentation and hold discussion on Sessom Drive /Academy Street Project, and provide direction to Staff. The Council received Staff briefings and held discussion regarding items on the agenda for June 7, 2016 Regular City Council Meeting, to wit Items (3 -1.5). Staff will amend Item #8 to ensure that the caption states "City Park Parking Lot." Staff let the Council know that Item #10 was pulled by the applicant and the agenda will be amended to remove it. Item #11 Staff was directed to bring back comparisons of other communities related to "P" Public. Staff let the Council know that they will be amending the agenda to remove Item #13. EXECUTIVE SESSION 2. Executive Session in accordance with Section § 551.074 of the Texas Government Code: Personnel Matters - to discuss Appointee Evaluations. A motion was made by Mayor Guerrero, seconded by Council Member Gregson, to enter into Executive Session at 12:47 p.m. The motion carried by the following vote: For: 7 - Mayor Guerrero, Mayor Pro -Tem Thomaides, Council Member Prather, Deputy Mayor Pro Tern Prewitt, Council Member Hughson, Council Member Derrick and Council Member Gregson Against: 0 3. Consider adoption or direction to Staff on matters discussed in Executive Session. The City Council reconvened into open session at 3:10 p.m. The Council received the completed appointee evaluation documents and will be scheduling a future meeting to provide them to the appointees.
