City Council Meeting Minutes June 3, 2016 <br />effective date. <br />Non Consent Agenda <br />13. Appointments to the Cemetery Commission and to fill a vacancy on the Citizen <br />Utility Advisory Board. <br />14. Staff presentation and discussion on the Hopkins Street Improvements: Bishop to <br />Moore, and provide direction to Staff. <br />15. Receive a Staff presentation and hold discussion on Sessom Drive /Academy <br />Street Project, and provide direction to Staff. <br />The Council received Staff briefings and held discussion regarding items on the <br />agenda for June 7, 2016 Regular City Council Meeting, to wit Items (3 -1.5). <br />Staff will amend Item #8 to ensure that the caption states "City Park Parking <br />Lot." <br />Staff let the Council know that Item #10 was pulled by the applicant and the <br />agenda will be amended to remove it. <br />Item #11 Staff was directed to bring back comparisons of other communities <br />related to "P" Public. <br />Staff let the Council know that they will be amending the agenda to remove <br />Item #13. <br />EXECUTIVE SESSION <br />2. Executive Session in accordance with Section § 551.074 of the Texas Government <br />Code: Personnel Matters - to discuss Appointee Evaluations. <br />A motion was made by Mayor Guerrero, seconded by Council Member <br />Gregson, to enter into Executive Session at 12:47 p.m. The motion carried by <br />the following vote: <br />For: 7 - Mayor Guerrero, Mayor Pro -Tem Thomaides, Council Member Prather, Deputy <br />Mayor Pro Tern Prewitt, Council Member Hughson, Council Member Derrick and <br />Council Member Gregson <br />Against: 0 <br />3. Consider adoption or direction to Staff on matters discussed in Executive Session. <br />The City Council reconvened into open session at 3:10 p.m. The Council <br />received the completed appointee evaluation documents and will be scheduling <br />a future meeting to provide them to the appointees. <br />III.
