RESOLUTION 2016-91R <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br /> MARCOS, TEXAS, APPROVING THE PURCHASE OF TRAFFIC <br /> SIGNAL PREEMPTION EQUIPMENT FOR THE FIRE DEPARTMENT <br /> FROM CONSOLIDATED TRAFFIC CONTROLS, INC. IN THE TOTAL <br /> AMOUNT OF $59,049.75 THROUGH THE HOUSTON-GALVESTON <br /> AREA COUNCIL OF GOVERNMENTS COOPERATIVE PURCHASING <br /> PROGRAM CONTRACT #PE-05-15 FOR TRAFFIC CONTROL, <br /> ENFORCEMENT AND SIGNAL PREEMPTION; AUTHORIZING THE <br /> CITY MANAGER OR HIS DESIGNEE TO EXECUTE THE <br /> APPROPRIATE PURCHASING DOCUMENTS ON BEHALF OF THE <br /> CITY AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br /> TEXAS: <br /> PART 1. The purchase of Traffic Signal Preemption Equipment for the Fire Department <br /> from Consolidated Traffic Controls, Inc. in the total amount of$59,049.75 through the Houston- <br /> Galveston Area Council of Governments Cooperative Purchasing Program, Contract #PE-05-15 <br /> for Traffic Control, Enforcement and Signal Preemption is approved. <br /> PART 2. The City Manager or his designee is authorized to execute the appropriate <br /> purchasing documents on behalf of the City. <br /> PART 3.
