Lee Schroeder requested the City add an <br />arborist or horticulturist to the City staff to care for the spread of Oak Wilt in our <br />community. Cliff Caskey also requested the City look into hiring an arborist for the Oak <br />Wilt problem facing Hays County. Sandy Schroeder addressed the Council also <br />regarding Oak Wilt. <br /> <br />Mayor Morris introduced for consideration approval of one appointment to complete a <br />vacancy on the Main Street Advisory Board. Mr. Cox moved to appoint Charles <br />Reynolds, which passed unanimously. <br /> <br />- Mayor Morris introduced for consideration a public hearing and adoption of an <br />I <br />; Ordinance on emergency, the caption which was read as follows: <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS, INCREASING THE RESIDENTIAL SOLID WASTE COLLECTION <br />RATE; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; REPEALING ALL CONFLICTING <br />ORDINANCES; PROVIDING FOR PUBLICATION; AND DECLARING AN <br />EMERGENCY. <br /> <br />* Ms. Womack not present at this meeting. <br />
