implementation, including favorable time-of-use pricing structure; 3) establishment of low <br />income energy cost relief program; 4) creation and expansion of LCRA sponsored incentive <br />programs for energy conservation; 5) assurance that LCRA acquisition of facilities within taxing <br />districts does not result in loss of property tax revenue; and 5) limits on self-insurance reserve <br />amounts, funding formulas, interest earning disposition, etc. <br />Council provided direction to negotiate: 1) ability to secure other sources for longer than one <br />year; 2) City-generated power to be part of the 30% market pricing option; 3) an escalating <br />percentage of renewable energy sources for the duration of the contract; and 4) bring in more <br />clean sources. <br />32. Adjournment. <br />MOTION: Upon a motion made by Councilmember Jones and a second by Councilmember <br />Terry, the City Council voted six (6) for and none (0) opposed, to adjourn the regular session of <br />the San Marcos City Council at 10:48 p.m. on Tuesday, June 16, 2009.
