<br /> Mr. Guerra introduced for consideration approval of minutes of the
<br /> Regular Meeting held May 23, 1994, approval of two Ordinances on
<br /> second reading, adoption of eight Resolutions and approval to
<br /> authorize bids be accepted for the sale of city-owned property (1)
<br /> Lots 12, 13, 14 and 15, Block 8, Victory Gardens Addition (located
<br /> at 305 and 307 Armstrong Street), and (2) a portion of Lot 7, Block
<br /> 7, D. S. Combs Addition (located in the 600 Block of Valley Street)
<br /> on consensus. The Council removed the two Ordinances on second
<br /> reading (Items 10. B. [1] and 10. B. [2]) and Item 10.C. (7), adoption of
<br /> a Resolution, to be considered separately. Mr. Hart moved for
<br /> approval of the minutes of the Regular Meeting held May 23, 1994
<br /> (Mr. Hernandez abstaining), for adoption of the remaining seven
<br /> Resolutions and for approval to authorize bids to be accepted on the
<br /> two tracts of property (above stated) on consensus, and Mr.
<br /> Hernandez seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. The
<br /> captions of the Resolutions read as follows:

<br /> NO. 4 TO THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, HAYS COUNTY, TEXAS TO J.
<br /> GARLAND WARREN; AUTHORIZING THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS TO EXECUTE A
<br /> RELEASE AND QUITCLAIM; AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
<br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS,
<br /> TEXAS, APPROVING THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF AN AGREEMENT
<br /> BETWEEN THE CITY AND SOUTHWEST TEXAS STATE UNIVERSITY (SWTSU)
<br /> FOR ATTACHMENT TO LINES TO UTILITY POLES; AUTHORIZING THE CITY
<br /> MANAGER TO EXECUTE THE AGREEMENT ON BEHALF OF THE CITY; AND
