RESOLUTION 2016 -101R <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br />MARCOS, TEXAS, REJECTING BOTH BIDS SUBMITTED FOR THE <br />PURCHASE OF AIR PACKS AND REPLACEMENT PARTS ( #216 -234) <br />FOR THE FIRE DEPARTMENT; AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE <br />DATE. <br />RECITALS: <br />1. On June 16, 2016, two bids were received for the purchase of Air Packs and <br />Replacement Parts (IFB 216 -234) for the Fire Department. <br />2. After review of the goods category breakdown and the pricing structure in the <br />manufacturer's catalogs, which served as the basis for the bid, it is recommended by City staff that <br />both bids be rejected. <br />E IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS: <br />PART 1. Both bids received in response to an invitation for bids for the purchase of Air <br />Packs and Replacement Parts ( #216 -234) for the Fire Department are rejected. <br />PART 2.
