RESOLUTION 2016 -11OR <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS, APPROVING A LOCAL TRANSPORTATION PROJECT ADVANCE <br />FUNDING AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY AND THE STATE OF TEXAS <br />ACTING THROUGH THE TEXAS DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION FOR <br />THE HOPKINS STREET RECONSTRUCTION PROJECT (CSJ #0914 -33 -074) <br />APPROVING THE CITY'S CONTRIBUTION OF APPROXIMATELY $947,779.00 <br />IN LOCAL PARTICIPATION IN THE PROJECT; AUTHORIZING THE CITY <br />MANAGER OR HIS DESIGNEE TO EXECUTE THE ADVANCED FUNDING <br />AGREEMENT ON BEHALF OF THE CITY; AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE <br />DATE. <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS: <br />PART 1. The attached Local Transportation Project Advance Funding Agreement (AFA) <br />between the City and the State of Texas acting through the Texas Department of Transportation, Project <br />Number: CSJ #0914 -33 -074, for the Hopkins Street Reconstruction Project is approved. <br />PART 2. The City's contribution of approximately $947,779.00 in local participation in the <br />Project is approved. <br />PART 3. The City Manager or his designee is authorized to execute the AFA on behalf of the <br />City <br />PART 4.
