Ms. Hughson stated it was not obvious to get into the
pool if you are a resident you have to pay $2.00. Ms. Hughson suggested under pool the
Ordinance read: $2.00 and in parenthesis "includes admittance fee". Ms. Hughson also
stated if annual meant 12 months from the last time money was paid. Mr. Cobb stated it
was. Mr. Cobb stated a new program they would like to start is called Parks Bucks. Mr.
Cobb stated this was in case someone wanted to come in and help and it didn't matter if
they were youths or adults, such as stuffing envelopes, they would get five park bucks to
use in any program which is offered by the Department. Ms. Hughson stated on the actual
activity center fees was the 2 hour minimum just for resident and non-residents and the 4
hour minimum for commercial. Mr. Cobb stated yes. Ms. Hughson stated a table top
podium is called a lectern. Ms. Hughson asked about Civic Club Fees if those were for
noon only. Mr. Cobb stated there is a two hour block from 11:30 to 1:30 where some of
the requests were for, so that would be noon time. Ms. Hughson suggested it should state
noon only since that was the intent. Ms. Hughson stated another change on Page 3 of 3
regarding additional rental equipment could the word "each " be placed after each quote
and to clarify the square footage on the dance floor. Mr. Cobb stated he would clarify that
also which is 24 x 18. Mr. Guerra stated the agenda called for setting fees and he does
not have any problem with Ms. Hughson sitting down with the board and going over her
verbage with them again so as to limit the time in discussing each item. Ms. Hughson
stated VHS needed to be changed to VCR. Mr. Guerra stated he thought all this had been
ironed out when Ms. Hughson had met with the Board. Ms. Hughson stated this had not
been prepared at the time. Mr. Cobb stated the substantial completion of the activity
center would be around the end of May.
