Call To Order <br /> With a quorum present, the workshop meeting of the San Marcos City Council <br /> was called to order by Mayor Guerrero at 8:33 a.m. Friday, August 12, 2016 in <br /> the City Council Chambers, 630 E. Hopkins, San Marcos, Texas <br /> 78666. <br /> II. Roll Call <br /> Present: 6- Mayor Daniel Guerrero, Mayor Pro-Tem John Thomaides, Deputy Mayor Pro Tern <br /> Lisa Prewitt, Council Member Jane Hughson, Council Member Melissa Derrick <br /> and Council Member Scott Gregson <br /> Absent: 1 - Council Member Jude Prather <br /> 1. Participate in a City Council Teambuilding Workshop with Dr. Richard Lewis of Round <br /> Top Consulting Associates, LLC, and provide direction to Staff, if necessary. <br /> A motion was made by Council Member Gregson, seconded by Mayor <br /> Pro-Tern Thomaides, that the Council enter Executive Session in accordance <br /> with Texas Local Government Code Section 551.074 - Personnel Matters to <br /> discuss the duties of public officers, to wit: the Members of the San Marcos <br /> City Council. The Council entered Closed Session at 8:34 a.m. The motion <br /> carried by the following vote: <br /> For: 6- Mayor Guerrero, Mayor Pro-Tem Thomaides, Deputy Mayor Pro Tern Prewitt, <br /> Council Member Hughson, Council Member Derrick and Council Member <br /> Gregson <br /> Against: 0 <br /> Absent: 1 - Council Member Prather <br /> The Council reconvened into Open Session at 12:00 p.m. No further action was <br /> taken. <br /> I.
