Section 2.05. "Site" means a fenced and locked area within the Park with dimensions of <br />32 feet by 32 feet as further described in Exhibit "A" to this Agreement to be used for repatriation <br />of Remains and Artifacts. <br />ARTICLE 3. PREPARATION AND MAINTENANCE OF THE REPATRIATION SITE <br />Section 3.01. Fencing. The Site shall be defined and secured by a wrought iron fence of at least <br />eight (8) feet in height with locked gates for access by City's personnel and grounds maintenance <br />equipment. The Institute shall procure and remit funds to the City to provide for construction of the fence. <br />No Remains may be placed within the Site until the fence has been constructed. <br />Section 3.02. Educational Sign. City and the Institute shall work collaboratively to determine <br />the content, form, location, and materials to be used for the placement of a durable and weather - resistant <br />sign to designate the Site as the location for repatriated Remains and to educate and inform visitors of the <br />history of the Spring Lake area as the oldest continuously inhabited area in North America. The cost of the <br />sign shall be paid by the Institute. <br />Section 3.03. Grounds Maintenance. City shall be responsible for mowing, weed control, and general <br />maintenance of the Site at City's expense to keep the grounds in an attractive condition that demonstrates <br />respect for the repatriated Remains. <br />ARTICLE 4. REPATRIATION AND SITE ACCESS <br />Section 4.01. Coordination of Repatriation Ceremonies. City and Institute shall work <br />cooperatively to schedule ceremonies to conduct Repatriation of Remains. City will provide access to the <br />Site for Repatriation ceremonies and assist the Institute with arrangements necessary to accommodate <br />participants in the ceremonies. <br />
