RESOLUTION 2016-130R <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br /> MARCOS, TEXAS, APPROVING THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF <br /> AN INTERLOCAL AGREEMENT WITH THE CAPITAL AREA <br /> EMERGENCY COMMUNICATIONS DISTRICT FOR PUBLIC SAFETY <br /> ANSWERING POINT MAINTENANCE, EQUIPMENT UPGRADE AND <br /> TRAINING; AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER OR HIS DESIGNEE <br /> TO EXECUTE THIS INTERLOCAL AGREEMENT ON BEHALF OF <br /> THE CITY; AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br /> TEXAS: <br /> PART 1. The attached interlocal agreement between the City of San Marcos (the <br /> "City") and the Capital Area Emergency Communications District ("CAECD") for Public Safety <br /> Answering Points ("PSAP") maintenance, equipment upgrade and training in connection the <br /> City's 9-1-1 emergency communications service is approved. <br /> PART 2. This interlocal agreement is entered into pursuant to the Interlocal <br /> Cooperation Act, Chapter 791 of the Texas Government Code, as amended. <br /> PART 3. The City Manager or his designee is authorized to execute this agreement on <br /> behalf of the City. <br /> PART 4.
