City Council • Meeting Minutes July 25,2016 <br /> Partnership conducted of impacted businesses following the flood events. <br /> AECOM to update the Needs Assessment slide containing the Economy results <br /> to clarify that there was "very low damage across the city" relating to <br /> businesses impacted by the flooding. Staff to provide the publicity schedule on <br /> the action plan to the Council. <br /> Council will consider the action plan on their regular meeting agenda on <br /> August 2, 2016. <br /> III. Question and Answer Session with Press and Public. <br /> Todd Salmi, asked if the people that were told by FEMA that had received <br /> previous funding and didn't have flood insurance that they couldn't apply <br /> again for funding through them. Are they able to get funding? Lael Holton <br /> stated that even if they were denied by FEMA that there is nothing preventing <br /> them from coming to the City. <br /> Grace Davis, asked about the timeline. What is she to tell her mother if she <br /> wants to move forward? Are we looking at 20 years or 3 years? She hopes <br /> that we know something in the next 9 months. Mayor Pro Tern Thomaides <br /> asked Staff to produce a timeline for distribution. <br /> IV.
