Consider approval of the reappointment of the following Downtown TIRZ #5 Board of <br /> Directors: Council Member John Thomaides, Hays County representative <br /> Commissioner Will Conley <br /> A motion was made by Council Member Hughson,seconded by Deputy Mayor <br /> Pro Tem Prewitt, to postpone appointment until January of 2017. The motion <br /> carried by the following vote: <br /> For: 7- Mayor Guerrero, Mayor Pro-Tern Thomaides,Council Member Prather, Deputy <br /> Mayor Pro Tem Prewitt,Council Member Hughson,Council Member Derrick and <br /> Council Member Gregson <br /> Against: 0 <br /> 29. Consider approval, by motion, of the appointment of the Community Improvements <br /> Taskforce, and provide direction to Staff. <br /> Main Motion: A motion was made by Council Member Gregson, seconded by <br /> Mayor Pro-Tem Thomaides,that the appointments of the Community <br /> Improvements Taskforce be approved. <br /> Motion to Amend: A motion was made by Council Member Hughson, <br /> seconded by Deputy Mayor Pro Tem Prewitt, that the appointments of the <br /> Community Improvements Taskforce be amended by making the 21 city <br /> resident to be voting members, and the 4 non-residents would be ex-officio <br /> non-voting members.
