City Council Meeting Minutes July 19,2016 <br /> Business Area; providing a savings clause; providing for the repeal of any conflicting <br /> provisions; and providing an effective date; and consider approval of Ordinance <br /> 2016-23, on the first of two readings. <br /> Shannon Mattingly, Director of Development Services,provided the Council <br /> with an overview of the LDC amendment. <br /> Mayor Pro Tem Thomaides opened the Public Hearing at 9:15 p.m. <br /> There being no comments Mayor Pro Tem Thomaides closed the Public <br /> Hearing at 9:15 p.m. <br /> A motion was made by Deputy Mayor Pro Tern Prewitt, seconded by Council <br /> Member Prather, that Ordinance 2016-23 be approved to increase the <br /> allowable number of restaurant type (restricted) conditional use permits in the <br /> Central Business Area to 25.
