City Council Meeting Minutes July 19,2016 <br /> Clay DeStefano, Arts Commission member, provided a presentation and <br /> update to council regarding the mermaid sculpture design. Discussion was held <br /> regarding the potential for more coverage on the upper torso, encouraging <br /> mixed media rather than simply painted forms, a legal structure to manage the <br /> program, licensing, and guidelines. Mr. DeStefano stated that the RFP would <br /> be brought to Council. Staff will bring back a future agenda item on licensing <br /> and use of the image. Staff will move forward with the proposed design. <br /> VI. Question and Answer Session with Press and Public. <br /> None. <br /> VII.
