City Council Meeting Minutes October 28,2016 declaring an effective date. NON-CONSENT AGENDA 15. Ordinance 2016-48, on the first of two readings, amending the Traffic Register maintained under Section 82.067 of the San Marcos City Code by reducing the speed limit from 30 miles per hour to 25 miles per hour in both directions on the following streets in the Sunset Acres Subdivision: Peter Garza St.(Block 1700-1800, San Marcos Pkwy to Del Sol); Del Sol Dr. (Block 100-500, IH 35 to east end); Patricia Dr. (Block 200-500, Del Sol to Parker Dr.); Candlelight Ln. (Block 300-600, Patricia to Del Sol); Lockwood Dr. (Block 100-500, Del Sol to Oakdale); Parkdale Dr. (Block 400-500, Del Sol to Broadway); Parker Dr. (Block 200-500, Patricia Dr. to Sunflower Dr.); Magnolia Dr. (Block 300, Lockwood Dr. to Parker Dr.); Oakdale Dr. (Block 200-300, Patricia Dr. to Parker Dr.); and Ebony Street (Block 200, Patricia Dr. to Parker Dr.), and including procedural provisions. 16. Ordinance 2016-49, on the first of two readings, authorizing the installation of Traffic Diverter on Ebony St. at IH 35 access road; and including procedural provisions. 17. Ordinance 2016-50, on the first of two readings, amending Chapter 39 of the San Marcos City Code regarding Flood Damage Prevention by providing for more stringent Flood Damage Prevention and Mitigation Standards; providing a savings clause; providing for the repeal of any conflicting provisions; and providing an effective date. 18. Discussion regarding the possibility of reassembling the Affordable Housing Policy Subcommittee to discuss and consider adding tax credit property provisions to the policy. The Council received Staff briefings and held discussion regarding items on the agenda for November 1, 2016 Regular City Council Meeting,to wit Items (3-18). Item#18 -Upon direction by Council, Staff will revise the caption to read as follows: Hold discussion regarding the possibility of reassembling the Affordable Housing Policy Subcommittee to discuss and consider additions and revisions to the policy.
