(4) Manufactured homes to be placed or substantially improved on sites in an existing <br />manufactured home park or subdivision within zones AH, and AE on the community's <br />FIRM that are not subject to subsection (3) of this section shall be elevated so that <br />either (i) the lowest floor of the manufactured home is at or above twos foot above <br />the base flood elevation, or (ii) the manufactured home chassis is supported by <br />reinforced piers or other foundation elements of at least equivalent strength that are no <br />less than 36 inches in height above grade and be securely anchored to an adequately <br />anchored foundation system in accordance with section 39.041. <br />(5) All recreational vehicles placed on sites within zones AH, and AE must either: <br />(a) Be on the site for fewer than 180 consecutive days; <br />(b) Be fully licensed and ready for highway use; or <br />(c) Meet the requirements for new construction, including anchoring and elevation <br />requirements for manufactured homes in this subsection. <br />A recreational vehicle is ready for highway use if it is on its wheels or jacking system, is <br />attached to the site only by quick disconnect type utilities and security devices, and has no <br />permanently attached additions. <br />Sec. 39.045. Reserved. <br />Sec. 39.046. Existing structures. <br />(1) Structures and uses of structures which lawfully exist prior to the effective date of this <br />ordinance and which do not conform to this article may be continued subject to the <br />following conditions: <br />(a) In floodway. Existing structures and uses within a floodway shall not be expanded <br />or enlarged unless the effect of proposed expansion or enlargement does not cause <br />y. <br />.. .. y... - - .- <br />.. .......... .. .. <br />Sec. 39.046.
