The Council directed i\'fr. Gilley to bring an amended <br /> Ordinance to the next Council meeting. <br /> Mayor Moore introduced the City Manager's Report. Mr. Gilley stated the waterline portion of <br /> the Sunset Acres Project was 71 % complete. He stated the water mains had been placed and only <br /> minor clean-up needed to be done. He also stated the wastewater was 30% complete and the <br /> streets were underway. He expected the project to be complete by mid August. j\¡1r. Gilley <br />'- informed the Council the budget workshops were to begin in mid July and he would be contacting <br /> them regarding certain dates. <br /> Mayor Moore introduced the City Attorney's Report. Mr. Taylor had no report. <br /> Mayor Moore introduced the City Council's Report. Ms. Hughson stated there was a vacancy <br /> from Hays County on the Edwards Aquifer Authority Board and the agency is seeking interested <br /> volunteers. <br /> Mayor tvfoore introduced an Executive Session pursuant to the Government Code, Section <br /> 551.071, to discuss pending litigation (Sierra Club vs. Babbitt) Kencon vs. City of San Marcos; <br /> Tamez vs. City of San Marcos), contemplated litigation (McCarty Ranch Snbdivision; \Vestover <br /> drainage), and matters where the City Attorney's ethical duty to the City clearly conflicts with <br /> Government Code Chapter 551 (Westover infilI development proposal; Southside Senior Citizen <br /> project); and Section 551.074, to discuss appointment of a public officer (Edwards Aquifer <br /> Authority Board) and duties of public officer (Mayor). Mr. Guerra moved the Council adjourn at <br /> 9:45 p.m. and Mr. Hernandez seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. <br /> :tvIr. Hernandez moved the Council reconvene at 11: 16 p.m. and Ñfr.
