Mr. Hernandez stated the Council <br />needs to discuss with Mr. Gilley the issues involving staff and <br />space. Mr. Gilley stated he would like to address and study some of <br />the issues raised. The Council set July 29 at 5:00 p.m. as the <br />deadline for proposals and August 5 at 6:30 p.m. for the. Executive <br />Session and Workshop. <br /> <br />r-' Mayor Moore introduced the City Manager's Report. Mr. Gilley had no <br />¡ report at this meeting. <br /> <br />Mayor Moore introduced the City Attorney's Report. Mr. Taylor had <br />no report at this meeting. <br /> <br />Mayor Moore introduced the City Council's Report. (1) Mayor Moore <br />advised Ms. Hughson he has not yet sent a letter regarding the <br />center lane on Hunter Road. (2) Ms. Hughson stated she thought the <br />Council was going to have some recommendations for the TIP public <br />hearing with TDOT, and Mayor Moore stated Russell Lehz wants to meet <br />to discuss some recommended changes he thinks will improve the <br />City's odds. (3) Mr. Hart stated the drought is causing negative <br />structural effects and thinks we need to consider amending our plan <br />to allow watering once a week. Mr. Cox stated he wpuld be <br />supportive of that and asked Mr. Taylor to let the Council know what <br />effect it might have on our suit against the sierra Club. Mr. Moore <br />stated he has requested the County Judge follow our restrictions. <br />Ms. Hughson stated she agrees with Mr. Hart but thinks once a week <br />would be too much. Mayor Moore requested Mr. Gilley get staff <br />feedback on Mr. Hart's issue. <br /> <br />Mayor Moore introduced an Executive Session pursuant to the <br />Government Code, Section 551.071, to discuss pending litigation <br />¡- (Sierra Club vs. San Antonio; Tamez vs. City of San Marcos), and <br />t matters where the City Attorney's et~ical duty to the City clearly <br />conflicts with Government Code Chapter 551 (Heritage Subdivision <br />infill development proposal; Westover area infill development <br />proposal; Oak Heights Area infill development proposal). Mr. <br />Hernandez moved to adjourn into Executive Session at 11:18 p.m. <br />after a ten minute break and Ms. Hughson seconded the motion, which <br />passed unanimously. <br /> <br />Ms. Hughson moved to reconvene at 12:06 a.m. and Mr. GuerLa seconded <br />the motion, which passed unanimously. <br /> <br />The meeting adjourned at 12:07 a.m. on motion made by Ms. Hughson <br />and seconded by Mr. Guerra. <br /> <br />~ ßfJU1 ~\ ~ <br /> <br />Billy G.
