Attachment A <br />Scope of Work <br />Blanco Basin Wastewater Treatment and Direct Potable Reuse Feasibility Study. <br />I. The Consultant will determine the anticipated wastewater flows to be generated in the Blanco <br />Basin identified on the inap attached as Attachment B. <br />2. The Consultant will evaluate potential locations for a new co -located wastewater treatment <br />plant to serve the Blanco Basin area. <br />3. The Consultant will develop infrastructure requirements for two scenarios: <br />A. A single, new co -located wastewater treatment plant in the Blanco Basin <br />B. Conveying wastewater flows from the Blanco Basin to the existing wastewater treatment <br />plants owned by Kyle and San, Marcos <br />4. The Consultant will develop cost estimates, both capital and operational, for the two scenarios <br />listed in Item 3 above, and will identify the benefits of the two scenarios listed in Itern 3 above. <br />5. The Consultant will identify the potential benefits of co -locating a new wastewater plant with <br />a Direct Potable Pleuse (DPR) water plant, including potential increased YAP R source water. <br />6. The Consultant will develop and deliver a report comparing the costs and benefits of the two <br />scenarios listed in Item 3 above, and summarizing the benefits described in Item 5 above. <br />The Consultant will make a presentation of the report described in Item 6 above to the City of <br />Kyle, the City of San Marcos and the HCPUA Board of Directors. <br />
