No one wished to speak so Mayor Morris closed the <br />public hearing. Mr. Hernandez moved for approval of the Ordinance on first reading and Mr. Cox <br />seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. L' <br /> <br />Mayor Morris introduced for consideration a public hearing and approval of an Ordinance on first <br />reading, the caption which was read as follows: <br /> <br />AL'T ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNClL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS, CHANGING THE NAME OF HILLTOP COVE TO ffiLLTOP DRIVE FROM <br />ITS INTERSECTION 'WITH LAGO VISTA SOUTHWEST TO ITS END AT A CUL- <br />DE-SAC; PROVIDING FOR PUBLICATION AND DECLARING AN EFFECITVE <br />DATE. <br /> <br />Mayor Morris opened the public hearing. No one wished to speak so Mayor Morris closed the <br />public hearing. Mr. Guerra moved for approval of the Ordinance on first reading and Mr. Hart <br />seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. . <br /> <br />Mayor Morris introduced for consideration approval of an Ordinance on first reading, the caption <br />which was read as follows: <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNClL OF THE CITY OF SAL'T MARCOS, <br />TEXAS, AMENDING SECTION 42.051 OF THE SAN MARCOS CITY CODE TO <br />DELETE THE REQUIRE:MENT THAT ONE MEMBER OF THE mSTORIC <br />PRESERVATION CO:MNfISSION BE A MEMBER OF THE PLANNING AND ¡ <br />ZONING COMMISSION; AMENDING SECTION 42.077 OF THE SAN MARCOS ~ <br />. , <br />CODE TO CLARIFY NOTICE REQUIREMENTS FOR APPLICATIONS FOR '-' <br />CERTIFICATES OF APPROPRIATENESS; INCLUDING PROCEDURAL <br />PROVISIONS; AND PROVIDING FOR PENALTIES. <br /> <br />Mr. Guerra moved for approval of the Ordinance on first reading, and Mr. Cox seconded the <br />motion, which passed unanimously. <br /> <br />Mayor Morris introduced for consideration approval of the minutes of the Special Meeting <br />February 26, 1996, approval of the minutes of the Regular Meeting February 26, 1996, approval <br />of two Ordinances on second reading, adoption of two Ordinances on third and final reading and <br />adoption of five Resolutions on consensus. The Council removed items 7.B.(2) approval of <br />Ordinance on second reading and 7.D.(5) adoption of Resolution, to be considered separately. <br />Mr. Guerra moved for approval of the minutes of the Special Meeting held February 26, 1996, <br />approval of the minutes of the Regular Meeting held February 26, 1996, approval of the <br />remaining Ordinance on second reading, adoption of the two Ordinances on third and final <br />reading and adoption of the four remaining Resolutions on consensus and Mr. Cox seconded the <br />motion, which passed unanimously. {Mr. Hernandez voting nay on Item 7.C.(2)}.
