Womack <br />Mark Taylor <br />Ross Allegro <br />Ron Patterson <br />Carolyn Liner <br />Stephanie Langenkamp <br />Bill White <br />Dan O'Leary <br />Larry Kendrick <br />Rodney Cobb <br />Also Present: Joe Castillo, Mario Gutierrez, Collette Duran, Rodney <br />Vanoudekerke, Macel Sullivan, Phil Neighbors, Chris Perez, Virginia <br />Witte, Scott Maiers, Bob Ronson, Jeff Kester, Jane Hughson, Colonel <br />Dishman, Kim Doherty, Lupe Carbajahl and others. <br />Mayor Morris called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. <br />Mayor Morris introduced a ten-minute Citizen comment period. <br />Alexandra Aron stated she is a volunteer at the San Marcos Animal <br />Shelter, and she would like improvements to be made there. This <br />matter was referred to the City Council's Workshop on February <br />22-23. Elaine Jones stated she is not in support of extending the <br />drinking hours until 2:00 a.m. <br />Mayor Morris introduced for consideration approval of one <br />appointment to the Airport Commission. Mr. Cox moved to appoint <br />Robert Thornton, which passed unanimously. <br />Mayor Morris introduced for consideration approval of five <br />appointments to the Central Texas Higher Education Authority Board. <br />Mr. Guerra moved to reappoint Kate Robbins, reappoint Bob Sappington <br />and reappoint Virginia Mendez, Mr. Moore moved to appoint Jeffry <br />Hill, and Mayor Morris moved to appoint Debra Wisniewski, which <br />passed unanimously. <br />Mayor Morris introduced <br />appointments to the San <br />reappoint Clay Walls, ri <br />Culley, reappoint David <br />direction was given for <br />at their first meeting, <br />for consideration approval of five <br />Marcos Electrical Board. Mr. Moore moved to <br />aappoint David Drgac, reappoint Milton <br />Ellison and reappoint Dennis Wiese and <br />the Board to draw lots to stagger the terms <br />which passed unanimously. <br />Mayor Morris introduced for consideration a public hearing and <br />adoption of a Resolution, the caption which was read-as follows: <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS, AMENDING THE FUTURE LAND USE MAP OF THE MASTER PLAN OF <br />THE CITY, FROM COMMERCIAL TO HIGH DENSITY RESIDENTIAL FOR A <br />0.56 ACRE TRACT OF PROPERTY LOCATED AT 418 LINDA DRIVE, AND <br />DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
