City Council Meeting Minutes February 7,2017 <br /> Mike Dillon -Nominated by Council Member Derrick <br /> Johnny Finch - Nominated by Council Member Mihalkanin <br /> Rich Henderson - Nominated by Mayor Thomaides <br /> Mark Gleason - Nominated by Council Member Derrick <br /> Following a roll call vote Jim Garber,Kathryn McCarty, Mark Gleason, and <br /> Mike Dillon, received the majority of Council votes and were appointed to the <br /> Planning and Zoning Commission. Mr. Dillon was appointed to fill the <br /> vacancy left by Council Member Gonzales and will complete the remaining <br /> year of his term. <br /> EXECUTIVE SESSION <br /> 19. Executive Session in accordance Section 551.074 of the Texas Government Code - <br /> Personnel Matters - to discuss and deliberate regarding the City Manager Vacancy <br /> and compensation of the Interim City Manager; and in accordance with § 551.087- <br /> Economic Development: to receive an update regarding Project Enfield. <br /> A motion was made by Mayor Pro-Tem Hughson, seconded by Deputy Mayor <br /> Pro Tem Prewitt, to enter Executive Session at 11:08 p.m.. The motion carried <br /> by the following vote: <br /> For: 7- Mayor Thomaides, Council Member Gonzales, Mayor Pro-Tem Hughson, Council <br /> Member Derrick, Council Member Gregson, Council Member Mihalkanin and <br /> Deputy Mayor Pro Tem Prewitt <br /> Against: 0 <br /> 20. Consider adoption or direction to Staff on matters discussed in Executive Session. <br /> Council reconvened into regular session at 11:30 p.m. Council provided <br /> direction to Staff during executive session regarding Project Enfield. <br /> A motion was made by Council Member Gregson, seconded by Mayor <br /> Pro-Tem Hughson, to increase Interim City Manager, Collette Jamison's <br /> salary to$190,000 on an annual basis during the period that she is Interim. The <br /> motion carried by the following vote: <br /> For: 7- Mayor Thomaides, Council Member Gonzales, Mayor Pro-Tem Hughson, Council <br /> Member Derrick, Council Member Gregson, Council Member Mihalkanin and <br /> Deputy Mayor Pro Tern Prewitt <br /> Against: 0 <br /> VI.
