RESOLUTION NO. 2017-65R <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br /> MARCOS, TEXAS AUTHORIZING THE SUBMISSION OF AN <br /> APPLICATION TO THE OFFICE OF THE ATTORNEY GENERAL, <br /> CRIME VICTIMS SERVICES DIVISION, FOR A VICTIM <br /> COORDINATOR AND LIAISON GRANT IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO <br /> EXCEED $42,000.00 TO CONTINUE FUNDING FOR THE POLICE <br /> DEPARTMENT'S VICTIM'S SERVICES PROGRAM; AUTHORIZING <br /> THE CITY MANAGER OR HIS DESIGNEE TO EXECUTE ANY AND ALL <br /> DOCUMENTS AS NEEDED TO ACCEPT AND IMPLEMENT THE <br /> GRANT, IF AWARDED; AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br /> TEXAS: <br /> PART 1. The submission of an application to the Office of the Attorney General, <br /> Crime Victims Services Division, for a Victim Coordinator and Liaison Grant in an amount not to <br /> exceed $42,000.00 to continue funding for the Police Department's Victim's Services Program is <br /> hereby approved. <br /> PART 2. The City Manager or his designee is authorized to execute any and all <br /> documents as needed to accept and implement said grant, if awarded, on behalf of the City. <br /> PART 3.
