Consider adoption or direction to Staff on matters discussed in Executive Session. <br /> The Council reconvened into Regular Session at 5:59pm. Council provided <br /> direction to staff. <br /> PRESENTATIONS <br /> 3. Receive a Staff presentation of the Quarterly Investment and Financial Reports, and <br /> provide direction to Staff. <br /> 4. Receive the City of San Marcos' Comprehensive Annual Financial Report (CAFR) for <br /> the Fiscal Year ended September 30, 2016 from the City's audit firm ABIP, P.C. <br /> 5. Receive a Staff briefing and hold discussion regarding proposed amendments to the <br /> Parks Ordinance as recommended by the Parks and Recreation Board, and provide <br /> direction to Staff. <br /> A motion was made by Council Member Derrick, seconded by Council <br /> Member Gonzales,to postpone this discussion to a later date. He feels that it is opening <br /> up this street as a cut through and is turning into a raceway. He brings this up <br /> because his neighbors are primarily elderly. He is requesting that these signs <br /> be moved up to Moore Street and to detour students. <br /> Mike Larosse,spoke in favor of Carina Boston Pinales and her 3-year efforts to <br /> bring a co-working space to San Marcos.
