RESOLUTION 2017-67R <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br /> MARCOS, TEXAS, APPROVING THE PURCHASE AND <br /> INSTALLATION OF LAW ENFORCEMENT EQUIPMENT FOR <br /> FOURTEEN NEW FORD POLICE UTILITY INTERCEPTOR VEHICLES <br /> FOR THE POLICE DEPARTMENT FROM FLEET SAFETY <br /> EQUIPMENT, INC. THROUGH THE TEXAS LOCAL GOVERNMENT <br /> PURCHASING COOPERATIVE BUYBOARD CONTRACT FOR PUBLIC <br /> SAFETY AND FIRE HOUSE SUPPLIES AND EQUIPMENT (CONTRACT <br /> #432-13) IN THE TOTAL PURCHASE AMOUNT OF $180,618.57; <br /> AUTHORIZING THE INTERIM CITY MANAGER OR HIS DESIGNEE <br /> TO EXECUTE THE APPROPRIATE PURCHASE DOCUMENTS ON <br /> BEHALF OF THE CITY AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br /> TEXAS: <br /> PART 1. The purchase and installation of law enforcement equipment for fourteen <br /> (14) new Ford Police Utility Interceptor Vehicles for the Police Department from Fleet Safety <br /> Equipment, Inc. through the Texas Local Government Purchasing Cooperative Buyboard <br /> contract for Public Safety and Fire House Supplies and Equipment (Contract #432-13) in the <br /> total purchase amount of$180,618.57 is approved <br /> PART 2. The Interim City Manager or his designee is authorized to execute the <br /> appropriate purchase documents on behalf of the City. <br /> PART 3.
